Proclamations of Faith |

Regarding Cults:
A fundamental error of all cults is unity in someone, or something,
other than Jesus Christ.
All cults teach that the one way to belong to God is to belong to
the cult. The Truth states that the one way to belong to God is
to belong to Jesus Christ.
Cults focus on believing the right doctrines, and having the
right secret formula. God says that what is most important is
that I believe and trust in Jesus Christ.
Cults are proof that religious flesh is capable of great accomplish-
ments through unity and harmony. But they are unified in
something other than Jesus Christ.
Jesus said He did not come to bring peace on earth, but a sword.
He was saying that all that is unified in another must be destroyed
and divided in order that it find true life in Him.
When a person is not free to come and go from a group, lest
they incur God's "disfavor," it is a danger signal. Where the
Spirit of the Lord is, there is always liberty.
