Proclamations of Faith
by David A. DePra
Regarding Jesus Christ:
God does not insist that Jesus Christ is the only way to
Himself because He is narrow-minded. He insists upon it
because it is true. Jesus alone bore the sin of mankind.
Jesus was raised from the dead as a new creation. He
was not the same as before. He possessed the power of
resurrected life, and victory over death.
Nothing Jesus Christ possesses was handed to Him. He
won it all. But because He won it all, it is all given to us
free of charge.
Jesus Christ did not come to save us from the wrath of
His Father. He came to save us from ourselves.
